År släpptes den hyllade dramaserien Knutby på TV4. Serien prisades på Kristallengalan och fick ett brett genomslag med otaliga tittare som bänkade sig framför spänningen. Nu kommer den fristående uppföljaren Kristi Brud med Aliette Opheim tillbaka i huvudrollen.
TV4 skriver att den nya säsongen går in i en ännu mörkare fas av församlingslivet, där förtrycket blir än mer våldsamt och manipulativt – allt bakom en glansig fasad. Samtidigt som Knutbydramat skenar iväg börjar både media och psykologer att luska i vad som döljer sig innanför församlingens ramar. Med kniven mot strupen börjar lojaliteten sakteliga att spricka.
